FF7 FAQ

How to get Yuffie:

In the river crossing in the gold saucer area, drive around in your buggie until you get a chance to fight her (she only appears about 1 time for every 4 fights). She is fairly easy to beat using spells. Once you beat her you will go to a screen where you are in front of Yuffie, who is lying on the ground. On the top left hand corner there is a save point. DO NOT GO TO IT. Here comes the tricky part. If you do not do this right you will have to find her again. Plus she steals your money. Go up to her. When she asks you to fight her again, tell her "no." When she will asks if you are scared of her, tell her "petrified." Then she will start to leave. Tell her to "hold on." When she asks you if you want her to join you, say "Yes." Then tell her "let's hurry on." BINGO! You've got Yuffie!
